Celebrating Community and Competition
PCP successfully staged the team edition of the Eminence Cup in Singapore, welcoming players from across Asia to The Sports Arina @ Expo on 27 December 2025. Beyond the high-intensity matches, the event underscored pickleball’s unique ability to bridge communities through sport.
A Field Day of Team Spirit and Strategy
Twelve teams took to the courts, representing a broad mix of age groups, skill levels, and playing backgrounds. Each team fixture featured women’s, men’s, and mixed doubles, demanding tactical line-ups and cohesive teamwork. Several ties escalated into dramatic dreambreaker singles—deciding moments that elevated the atmosphere and tested nerves under pressure.
Match Highlights
From the opening rounds, the standard was uncompromising. Early standouts such as 1688 and Prime Max set the pace, with players including Bryan Tan, Johnny Choo, and Marcus Tan delivering inventive shot-making and emphatic finishes that drew sustained applause. The semi-finals intensified the spectacle: Team Forge faced PickleSlayers, while AG Pickleballers clashed with Prime Max—both encounters unfolding as tightly contested battles that kept spectators fully engaged.

The Championship Showdown
The final brought PickleSlayers and AG Pickleballers together in a decisive contest for the title. AG Pickleballers—Allen Gerry Manlangit, Chara Lee Lacang, Alfei Manlangit, and Gerry Manlangit—executed with composure and clarity, combining disciplined shot selection with smart rotations to secure the championship. Their run reflected resilience, preparation, and collective belief.

Somersby: Refreshing Moments
Somersby’s presence as beverage sponsor added a relaxed, social layer to the competition, offering refreshing ciders for players and spectators alike. The partnership complemented the event’s emphasis on active living and community connection, creating natural moments for post-match interaction.

Building Community Through Pickleball
More than a tournament, the Eminence Cup was a community milestone. The diverse turnout—across ages and abilities—highlighted pickleball’s accelerating appeal in Singapore and the region, reinforcing the sport as both competitive and inclusive.
“The Eminence Cup represents what we’re building at PCP—high-quality competition anchored in community,” said Darren Ho, Chairman of PKQ International. “When teams from different countries, backgrounds, and age groups come together on one court, the wins go beyond medals. This is about connection, growth, and giving people a reason to keep showing up.”
Looking Ahead
Buoyed by the success of the Singapore stop, PCP will continue to power and scale events across the region in the year ahead—strengthening pathways for competition, deepening cross-border ties, and expanding opportunities for players at every level.
